Key things to know
- Gives you a structured starting point instead of a blank chat box.
- Includes teacher tasks such as rubrics, quizzes, emails, report comments, flashcards, newsletters, and translations.
- Each tool asks for the details needed to produce a better answer.
- Sends the finished prompt into AI Chat so you can keep refining it.
What prompt tools are
Prompt tools are shortcuts for common teaching jobs. Instead of working out how to phrase a request from scratch, choose the tool, fill in a few fields, and Kuraplan writes a strong prompt for AI Chat.
They are useful when you know the job you need done: make a rubric, write a parent email, create flashcards, level a text, generate quiz questions, translate text, write report comments, or make an exit ticket.

Use a prompt tool

- 1Open AI Chat, then choose Explore Prompt Library.
- 2Search for the task you need, such as rubric, quiz, report, email, flashcards, or story.
- 3Open the tool.
- 4Fill in the required fields. Optional fields help with tone, detail, constraints, and examples.
- 5Select Send to AI Chat.
- 6Review the answer in chat and ask for changes if needed.
When to use prompt tools
Use prompt tools when the task has a familiar shape and you want Kuraplan to ask for the right details. They are especially helpful for admin-heavy tasks, assessment language, differentiated versions, and repeated classroom routines.
Use plain AI Chat instead when the request is unusual, messy, or needs a back-and-forth conversation.

Common fixes
- If the answer is too generic, add more detail to the tool fields or reply in chat with a clearer constraint.
- If you cannot find a tool, search for the task rather than the exact title.
- If required fields are missing, Kuraplan will ask you to complete them before sending.
- If the result is close, keep refining in AI Chat rather than starting over.
